To identify and invest in effective, indigenous Christian ministries working primarily in poorer countries and areas of persecution, for the purpose of spreading the gospel, building up the body of Christ, and assisting the poor and oppressed.

In the indigenous Aymara language, the word alalay means, "I feel cold." For thousands of children living on the streets of Bolivia, this word describes both the literal cold of the streets and the pain they feel at being shut out and rejected by the majority of society.
